One of the best parts about family photography is getting to watch the kids grow up each time I see them.  Getting to photograph Kate a few weeks ago was no different! Last year I did her in-home newborn session and I can hardly believe we were outside snapping photos of her running around in this cute pink tutu!  She has such a blooming personality and honestly, how can you not love her cute face!  Speaking of, her brother is just as much fun and he was such a little ham, smiling for the camera and catching some attention in between pictures of Kate.  Outdoor photography is so perfect for little ones so that they can run around and have some fun in between pictures.  It was a perfect spring evening in Lake Orion with no rain and a setting sun.  Also, this family is not only so, so, so sweet but they CLEARLY won my heart over when instead of a one year cake smash, they got ice cream cones!  Who doesn’t love a kid diving into an ice cream cone? Well maybe not the parents afterwards but I thought it was so stinkin’ cute!  Take a peek at some of my favorites from this one year (and family) session!
